Strathclyde Business Network is hosting the Glasgow Business Summit 2017 with the theme “Digital and Ethical Leaders of the 21st Century”.

In partnership with Clydesdale Bank, the Glasgow Business Summit will be held on Thursday, the 12th October 2017 at the Stenhouse Wing, Ground Floor of the Strathclyde Business School.

Through this event, we aim to create a platform to bring together business leaders, scholars, policy makers and students from all walks of life who have the drive and the power to make positive change. Participants of the Summit will be able to attend interviews, Q&A’s, panel sessions, company exhibitions and networking sessions.


Over 25 inspiring speakers will share their insights during this Summit, including

  • Jani Kelloniemi, Digital Partner, Bain & Company;

The Summit is divided into two blocks: Morning and Afternoon. The Morning block includes lunch and networking. The Afternoon block includes a Champaign reception and networking.


Morning tickets, from 9.30 am - 2 pm include the following topics:

  • Digital trends and innovation strategies for 2017

  • (Session A) Digital marketing: tips and hints for businesses

  • (Session B) Fintech: the ethical agenda

  • (Session C) Personal Development: how to become the best version of yourself?

  • The state of the UK: political, economic & social perspectives


Afternoon tickets, from 1.10 pm - 5.30 pm include the following topics:

  • Artificial Intelligence revolution: change or die

  • (Session A) Design thinking for ethical and innovative business solutions

  • (Session B) Skills of the future: becoming a leader in a tech driven world

  • (Session C) Life lesson's from a multimillionaire

  • Social Enterprises: a successful business model?

  • How can Scotland enable the growth of responsible global leaders within a sustainable economy?


We suggest to view the full agenda on our website before choosing your ticket. 3 simultaneous sessions (A, B and C) will be running during both the Morning and Afternoon blocks.

After purchasing your ticket, you will receive an email in the coming weeks where you will be asked to indicate your preference for sessions in the simultaneous track (A, B or C). We will allocate attendees to sessions based on their preference, this will be on a first come first served basis (subject to demand and seating limitations).

To experience the full day, purchase both Morning and Afternoon tickets together. Discounted Earlybird tickets will be available until the 20th of September or until they are sold out (80 tickets per blocks), first come first served!
