Description

DO COMPANY DIVERSITY PROGRAMMES ACTUALLY HELP WOMEN GET AHEAD?

Diversity has become a highly publicised corporate goal, but progress has been slow.

Considering the tons of panels, workshop and corporate programmes on gender diversity and inclusion, we think it’s time to check if the change is happening.

We will discuss it with a great representation of women from the creative, tech and media industries.

About us

We Hate Pink is a brainchild of Rossella Forle' and and is powered by Valentina Cianci.

We Hate Pink is a community focused platform built to connect professional women in the creative, tech and media industries to new opportunities and offer guidance on how to face challenge as a woman in the workplace.

We launched an online zine - www.wehatepink.com - where we cover different topics related to women in business, creativity, art and feminism activism. We incubate, develop and produce stories through an alternative female lens (including female-identifying and trans).

Each story becomes an opportunity to engage our community through the magazine and events and create a change that lives offline as well as on. We want to improve gender diversity in the workplace and in the real world. We share what inspires and motivates us. We voice the questions we have and the tensions we see.

We Hate Pink was born out of fire, frustration and passion.

Frustration that we didn’t see ourselves reflected in current workplace in every single industry, frustration that the feminine perspective still isn’t universal but yet is being commodified, and the frustration of hearing ourselves complain about all of it.

We Hate Pink is fuelled by the passion for powerful stories about the complexity of the human condition; passion for the creative force that runs through our lives; passion for media with purpose, intention and humour; and a passion to create a future in which we’d like to live.
