The Glory of Sefton Park: Botanicals, Fountains, Waterfalls and Peter Pan!
About this event
This magnificent 235 acre park is a Grade 1 historic park in the Sefton Park district of Liverpool. It is a Green Flag and Green Heritage awarded site with beautiful features and monuments. There are a number of statues and monuments in the park, including the Grade II listed Shaftsbury Memorial, Eros Fountain and Peter Pan statue.
From 'Old Nick's caves' to the beautiful Fairy Glen and Aviary viewing point, there's plenty of exploring to do! We'll also visit the bandstand, popular since the Victorian era, which is said to be the inspiration for The Beatles' song Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Join me for a glorious walk in this stunning park!
