You are invited to an early and private preview screening of THE GOOD SAMARITAN, a debut feature narrative film from Trident Productions, written and directed by Jack Laurenson.

This is an exclusive preview screening for collaborators, industry colleagues, actors, filmmakers, and supporters — with members of the cast and crew and the Trident team present. After the screening, there will be an after party and we will share updates on the film's release plan as well as information about other upcoming Trident projects.

The film is screening on Monday 17 November from 18:00–20:00 in Screening Room 1 at the BFI on Stephen Street. Please make sure you arrrive at least 10-15 minutes before the screening begins at 18:00.

After-Party & Networking Drinks

After the screening we will move to a nearby venue for networking, drinks, and informal conversations with the cast, crew, and wider Trident community. This is a separate, optional add-on ticket and if you don't manage to get tickets for the screening itself, you are welcome to get a separate ticket for the party instead.

About the film

The Good Samaritan is a tense, character-driven drama/thriller about kindness, trust, and the consequences of accepting help from the wrong person. Shot in London on a lean, independent model, it showcases Trident’s approach to making ambitious films with small, agile teams.

A Ukrainian war refugee in London is seeking solace and safety and moves in with a man who offers her shelter — but as the days pass, she begins to question his intentions and fears that she may be in more danger than ever.
