Description

Upon the fiftieth anniversary of the publication of Derrida’s seminal Of Grammatology, a dedicated reading of the work will commence on the 11th of October at the University of Westminster. Through ten weekly sessions the notions of deconstruction, différance, trace, supplement and metaphor that transformed not only philosophical discourse, but the whole landscape of the humanities will be explored. This is an intermediate-advanced level course, for which active participation is required. The course is free for Westmister students and members of staff; for non-Wesminster students and members of staff the fee is £120. For further information and in order to reserve a place, please write to Dr. Georgios Tsagdis: georgiostsagdis@outlook.com
