The Grand Cavalcade is a charming yet chaotic Theatrical hour of myths, music and Storytelling presented by Professor Foppletwig!

About this event

Join us at Fellfoot, Windermere this summer for a series of Outdoor Theatre shows and Storytelling Performances on the stunning House Lawn which you won’t forget in a hurry.

Your ticket includes a donation to The National Trust as well as access to the private House Lawn where you will be an audience member for The Grand Cavalcade performed by Three seasoned showmen Gary (Gacko) Bridgens, Ian (The Storyteller) Douglas and Dieter (Professor Pumpernickel) Wadeson.

The performance time is approximately 1hr.

After this your ticket also allows you full access to Fellfoot, a donation to the National Trust and one car parking pass with each collective booking (one car per 5 tickets).

All shows will adhere to Covid guidance, should the event be cancelled due to Covid 19 all ticket holders will be contacted directly.

Three seasoned showmen Gary (Gacko) Bridgens, Ian (The Storyteller) Douglas and Dieter (Professor Pumpernickel) Wadeson are regular performers at many leading national and international festivals delivering high quality family-friendly entertainment.

Presented by the infamous Victorian scientist and adventurer, Mr Foppletwig, The Grand Cavalcade is a charming yet chaotic hour of myths, music, magic and mayhem plus oodles of perfectly partitioned participation.

Cancellations, Covid and bad weather :

Please contact us directly should you have any questions about your tickets, we are always here to help and want to ensure all of our audience members have the best possible experience with us.

All shows will adhere to Covid guidance, should the event be cancelled due to Covid 19 all ticket holders will be contacted directly and a refund or exchange arranged.

Please note, these are Outdoor Theatre Shows and they will go ahead regardless of the weather. We cannot refund tickets in the event of bad weather, please be prepared to throw on your waterproofs, grab a brollie, stick on your wellies and join us for glorious performances come rain or shine.

Outside of reasons surrounding the event being cancelled due to Covid 19, A Summer of Stories can not offer refunds for tickets purchased for this event, please be sure of your booking before making it. We can offer exchanges where there is availability. The final date for exchanges is 14 days before the event.

Should you wish to request an exchange, or appeal a refund, please contact us through the "request a refund" and we will strive to get back to you within 48 hours. We can not guarantee refunds if an event is cancelled for reasons beyond our control. We will always strive to do all we can to help.
