Multiple Dates
The Great Big Aspiring Psychologist Reflection Sessions
Event Information
Description
These sessions are for aspiring psychologists to get together and reflect on their recent experiences. This could be in terms of anxiety regarding applying for clinical psychology, service user contact at work/volunteering, searching for opportunities or job hunting. Think of it as a support group for aspiring psychologists and a great chance to brush up on your reflection skills. We will support you through shortlisting anxiety, interview anxiety and offer anxiety.
Come to one or come to all! It does not matter if you’re not applying this year come along with us on the journey and learn a little bit more about yourself along the way. It will be a mixture of large group reflection and smaller group reflection. Bring your friends (the more the merrier) or come alone and make friends with a shared interest in psychology. We will also invite trainee psychologists and qualified psychologists to present during the large group reflection.
If you would like the opportunity to present something (e.g. a scenario or a case study) during the large group reflection please email us.
Three rules
1) Let us know if you’re coming (or cancelling) and who you are bringing.
2) You have to bring something with you e.g. a snack, a non alcoholic drink or you could bake a cake :)
3) Expect to reflect!
