Great Big Story Mix Up
The show that YOU make up!
Created by Roustabout | Directed by Toby Hulse
Performed by Robin Hemmings, Toby Hulse and Shaelee Rooke
Sunday 1st November at 11am and 2pm
The Great Big Story Mix Up is an improvised play for children and adults that puts the audience in the centre of the action! You choose the characters. You choose the costumes. You even control the Horn of Song and Trumpet of Dance!
Watch as your wild and wonderful ideas are brought to life by our troupe of storytellers in an hour of never-before-seen fairy tales and other nonsense.
For the whole family from aged 3+
FROM THE COMPANY
TOBY: ‘We’re all familiar with the idea that children say the strangest things. I don’t believe that they are strange, rather that children see the world in new and wonderfully unexpected ways. Now imagine a play led entirely by those ways of thinking! It’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before.’
SHAE: ‘The recent months have been difficult for children in so many ways. Being away from school and their friends has left little room for wild imagination and play. The Great Big Story Mix Up celebrates what children do best - coming up with daft ideas - and enables them to become creative collaborators in a wonderful world of silliness and story.’
