The Great British Grub Quiz

This ‘pub quiz’ with a difference will introduce the audience to social science research about food. You will go on a journey from thinking about food and nutrition, through a focus on inequalities to consider current policy in food welfare and public awareness of food poverty. The audience will be asked to organise into teams as the talk is presented as a series of questions and answers. Booking is required.

Thinking Futures - The University of Bristol's Festival of Social Sciences and Law
The Thinking Futures festival 2016 takes place on the 5 - 12 November and aims to share and celebrate research from the University of Bristol's Faculty of Social Sciences and Law.
The programme comprises a wide variety of events for the general public, schools, policy-makers and third sector organisations, held in Bristol.
Engage with our researchers and see how the social sciences inform key debates and advances in policy and practice for governments, education, charities, health services, legal systems, and public services around the globe.
There are nine events being held this year across a wide array of topics and the festival is being co-ordinated by the Centre for Public Engagement and PolicyBristol as part of the national ESRC's Festival of Social Sciences.
