Come along and join us in taking part in The Beacon’s ‘The Great Plastic Weigh In’!

Alongside our Saturday litter picks across Eastbourne, we are also hosting mini weigh ins, encouraging our visitors and local community to recycle their plastic waste with us.

Why not come along and take part in our wornderful workshops and make your very own recycled art piece to take away with you and help to create beautiful art installation to be displayed in the centre. Local artists and members of DC Learn will be leading the workshops which are not only educational but lots of fun too!

All items produced will be made from single use plastics collected from our 3 organised litter picks. What better way to make use of them as well as learning how to reduce our use of single use plastics.

So, become a ‘weigh in warrior’ and hand over your single use plastics to The Hut team and received a free tote bag or reusable coffee cup.
