Andrew McGettigan

Tuesday 4 June

17.00 in N003

Andrew McGettigan is a freelance researcher who writes on higher education, the arts and philosophy. He blogs at Critical Education. His book examines the new market created in undergraduate recruitment, the new investment opportunities occurring and the entry and expansion of private operators. It concludes by reviewing the sustainability of the student loan scheme and the likely medium term policy implications for institutions and graduates as future government's manage the risk of lower than estimated graduate repayments.

Tea will be available from 16.00 onwards and wine and nibbles to follow lecture.
