The Greater Manchester Model of Public Service : Further, Faster

What is this event about?

You are invited, along with many other Greater Manchester partners, to come together at an event to discuss our collective ambitions for the reform of public services. It is a brilliant opportunity for all public services to come together with the community and voluntary sector to share best practice, to learn from each other and to challenge ourselves to go further and to go faster in rolling out integrated place based working.

We will be joined by local leaders and practitioners from across public services. The day will include key note speeches from the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, Donna Hall (GM Lead Chief Executive for Reform and Chief Executive of Wigan Council and Accountable Officer of NHS Wigan Borough Clinical Commissioning Group), Ian Hopkins (Chief Constable, Greater Manchester Police) and Jon Rouse (Chief Officer, Health & Social Care Partnership) and internationally acclaimed social entrepreneur Dr Hilary Cottam. There will be opportunities to share best practice and identify tangible action through discussion and workshops throughout the day.

Practicalities:

Please arrive from 8.30am for a 9.30am start. Refreshments and lunch will be provided on the day.

Please note places are limited due to venue capacity, therefore please RSVP asap.

If you plan to attend, please register no later than 10 working days before the event in order that we may confirm numbers with the venue. Manchester Central is a short walk from Deansgate-Castlefield or St. Peter's Square tram stops, and Manchester Oxford Road Station. There is a 24-hour NCP car park directly below Manchester Central, the usual charges will apply.
