About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes

DKUK is proud to present an evening with Jessica Joelle Alexander, bestselling author of The Danish Way of Parenting, and Søren Poulsen, CEO of Raising Digital Citizens. Together, they offer a fresh and much-needed perspective in the ongoing screen time debate—showing parents how to turn “no” into “know,” and build trust, not fear in the digital world. Join us for an evening of meaningful conversation, practical insights, and new ways of thinking about one of the most urgent and pressing parenting and societal challenges of our time.

This special event also marks the launch of Jessica’s new book, The Danish Way Everyday, the highly anticipated follow-up to The Danish Way of Parenting, one of the best-selling parenting books, published in 35 countries. Her work has been featured on BBC World News, The Wall street Journal, The NY Times and many more.

Jessica’s book will be available to purchase during the evening

Please note: DKUK members have priority booking and Non-members will be charged £10 to attend

The Danish UK Association is a joint community for people and businesses seeking to connect and be inspired. We are stronger together.

Our members all have cultural and/or business ties in both Denmark and the UK. It is our purpose to provide a community that connects people and fosters personal, cultural and business relationships. We believe the role of a healthy community is to provide inspiration for everyone. Rooted in Danish values and thinking we deliver connections, knowledge and awareness.

To that end, we run social, cultural and business-focused events; offer businesses increased visibility within the community and wider network; and keep everyone connected through the sharing of news, offers and announcements.

We connect people. We celebrate Danishness. We have a good time.
