Old drugs, new tricks: fast-tracking new treatments
Join us to hear our new Director of Research, Dr Arthur Roach, outline the charity’s vision for our research with particular reference to drug repositioning. He will be followed by Dr Dilan Athauda, Clinical Research Fellow at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. Dr Athauda will discuss the case of Exenatide, a diabetes approved drug, which may have the potential to be a disease modifying agent for those living with Parkinson’s and is currently undergoing a clinical trial.
