The Grief Café
Event Information
About this Event
Grief can often feel isolating, lonely and overwhelming. We aim to create a space for individuals to share their stories, or listen to others' stories about grief. The Grief Café is an environment where everyone has dealt with grief in one form or another, and aims to share their stories and methods of coping within our vibrant online community.
Most importantly, we want to normalise the conversation about grief, and you will be heard.
If you know someone this could be a useful tool for, share it with them too!
Who can you expect to meet?
As with last time, the hosts will be Katie and Evee from The Grief Reality blog, Darren from AfterCloud, Laura, Mac and Savannah from Serenity Alliance!
Community Rules:
The Grief Café is not a support group, we are people who grieve who want to give grief the space it deserves and most importantly to normalise the conversation.
We have created this group to allow attendees to connect with each other to continue the conversation and sharing thoughts that have come up in our monthly Grief Cafés.
Please note there are occasions when The Grief Café hosts may signpost and suggest different organisations to our attendees which we feel they may benefit from. This could be organisations such as other charities, counsellors, home help, well-being services and so on. The Grief Café cannot accept responsibility for other services provided by outside organisations.
