Grab the family and get set for a festive treat as a new drive-in cinema experience comes to St Helens Town Centre this Christmas.

The Winter Experience will take place on Chalon Way during November and December and will feature an American style drive-in cinema on Saturday nights, along with other exciting events.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas will be shown on the 10m x 6m big screen at the drive-in cinema on Saturday 27th November.

The cinema experience will take place on Saturday evening with arrival from 6:00pm and the film showing starts promptly at 7:30pm.

The drive-in cinema experience is the lowest in the area at £25 a car plus £1.64 booking fee and includes a Bluetooth speaker to listen in along with food stalls to get those all-important tasty treats.

- Tickets are non-refundable.

- The site opens at 6.00pm, last admission is 7.15pm and the film will start promptly at 7.30pm.

- Larger vehicles (e.g. 4x4) may be held in a 'holding area' while smaller cars are parked.

- Speakers will be handed to you on entry and must be returned on exit.

- All car engines and lights must be turned off once parked.

- Parking spaces are allocated on arrival. Staff will try and put friends in close proximity but this can't be guaranteed.

- Vehicles must remain stationary until such time that the film ends and the event staff direct you to the exit.

- Please be mindful of your car battery if using interior lights and heaters, as recovery services can take a while to reach you if needed.

- We ask that you take any rubbish home with you.

- If deemed too windy the event could be cancelled on safety grounds (a large inflatable screen is used). Customers will receive an email as soon as possible to advise if this is the case and a refund will be provided.

- We want everyone to have an enjoyable experience and we've worked hard to deliver an event which follows government guidelines. If you have tested positive for COVID please stay at home.

The drive-in cinema will also be playing some of the biggest Christmas favourites during December including How The Grinch Stole Christmas, The Polar Express and Elf for you and the family to enjoy.
