Event Details

This is an unconference-style event to explore the future shape of the technology enabling government services. It is for anyone interested in the reform of government (and particularly not just for technology people). As a start point, we will take the "Gubbins" model proposed in this 3 minute video...

Some people have said the model is a good summary of the direction of travel, but it does describe a radically different world. How feasible is that world? What would need to change to make it work? Are there other/better models?

After a bit of milling around drinking tea and eating cake, we will watch the video, identify issues of interest, discuss the issues in small groups and then come together to share summaries of what was talked about.

This is an opportunity to meet and converse with a genuinely diverse group of people. There will absolutely be no presenting, pitching or powerpointing.

If you have time, come for a drink afterwards.

Huge, huge thanks to the National Audit Office for providing the meeting room and hosting the event.
