Looking for a great day out with a twist? Join us at The Guide Dogs Run and enjoy a fun run with a difference – everyone dresses as a dog!

On Saturday 29 June 2024 The Guide Dogs Run will be taking over Hylands Park. The course is approx. 5k and you can tackle it however suits you, whether you want to run, jog or stroll. Take part with your friends, family, and four-legged friends and together we can raise vital funds for Guide Dogs.

Sign up today and receive your exclusive dog costume. Raise just £75 to get your paws on your Guide Dogs Run t-shirt which you can collect on the day.

After the run, the fun has just begun. Stick around in the Guide Dogs event hub, with music, activities and doggy demonstrations to celebrate our amazing charity.

Whether taking part on your own, or as part of a pack, every pound you raise will help transform the lives of people living with sight loss.

  • Adults (over 16) – sign up for FREE and raise £75 to help change the lives of families living with sight loss
  • Children (under 16) – FREE to attend, but must be accompanied by an adult on the day
  • Four legged friends – FREE to join the fun, but please note there must be one adult handler per dog

Guide Dogs wouldn’t be here without you. Our life-changing services depend on donations. Your fundraising will help us train more puppies and transform the lives of people with sight loss.

  • Raise £75 and you’ll get a Guide Dogs Run t-shirt which you can pick up on event day and wear with pride.
  • Raise £150 or more and you’ll receive a belt bag and be entered into a prize draw to WIN one of three hampers full of Guide Dog goodies!
  • You will also be invited to an exclusive thank you event at our National Breeding Centre in Leamington Spa.

How much does it cost?

Entry is free.

Tell me more about the costume.

You will receive your very own dog costume complete with ears and nose. This will be sent out with your welcome pack within two weeks of signing up.

Can I take part with my dog?

Yes, this event is dog friendly. We ask that a ratio of 1:1 is adhered to for dogs/adults, and that all dogs are on leads at the event. If you are signing up with your dog, please ensure you pay particular attention to the T&Cs relating to dog welfare/activity at the event.

Where do I go on arrival?

Please head to the Event Hub which is located on the large grass area just in front of The Adventure Playground. Look out for our flags and gazebos!

The event is open 10am-2pm, but when should I arrive?

We encourage all participants to arrive at the Event Hub area with plenty of time to spare! Key timings for the event are as follows: 10am - Event Hub opens 11am – Run starts* 2pm – Event Hub closes

What is the route like?

The route is approximately 5km and is fully contained within the beautiful grounds of Hylands Park, mostly on grass with some slight inclines and undulating areas.

What is the fundraising target?

How do I sign up?

Online registrations have now closed (28/06/2024) but everyone is welcome to come along on the day, simply head to our Event Hub to register and collect your running costume.

Will parking be available?

Car parking is available at the venue for £5 per vehicle, please bring cash where possible. Please use the main drive into the park from Greenbury Way to enter the event parking area on the left-hand side of the drive. Stewards will guide you in & out of the venue.
