Event description

Description

Presenter: Louise Buckley

Gut health is strongly linked to mood, concentration, and emotional balance. Poor dietary and lifestyle choices impacts gut health dramatically. This impact can result in low energy levels, sleep disturbance and mood changes.

This talk will outline how the gut and brain are connected to each other and explain how dietary and lifestyle changes that improve the health of the gut, will have a positive impact on overall physical and mental health.

At this event you will learn about:

  • The gut-brain connection - how it works and the role of nutrition.
  • Factors that disrupt this relationship - stress, food and toxins.
  • Natural solutions to support gut and brain health

Louise Buckley, CNM Naturopathy and Nutritional Therapy Graduate, will be presenting this talk. Having been practising for over a decade with thriving clinics in London and Hong Kong, Louise now has her own practice in Kinsale, Co. Cork. She is passionate about using nature and natural processes to heal, nurture and strengthen the body, mind and spirit.

Her key interest is in supporting clients’ digestive and immune systems. She dedicates a lot of time to researching the link between the consumption of fermented and cultured foods and our digestive health – a topic on which she has also published a book.
