The Hart Brown Annual Economic Forum: "Preparing for What's Next"
Thu 15 June 2017, 17:00 – 20:00 BST
An essential event for business leaders, entreprenuers, owners and managers to attend. Hear from leading thinkers on economics and business as they share their insight at The Hart Brown Annual Economic Forum: "Preparing for What's Next".
Our speakers this year, our 13th Annual Economic Forum, are:
Marcus Wright, Senior Economist, Natwest
Dr Malcolm Parry OBE, Managing Director & CEO, Surrey Research Park
Kate Lester, entrepreneur and leader of Diamond Logistics Ltd
The concept of running an annual economic forum was conceived by Hart Brown in 2004, but to succeed it needed the support of others. In the first year, HSBC Bank plc kick-started it and set a high standard for the level of speakers for future years by making their Chief Economist, John Butler, available as the first keynote speaker. The intention was to spread the speaker coverage between a macro-economic overview from a professional economist, a general South East overview and from a specific business perspective with a Q&A session afterwards. We are pleased that the format has proven to be successful moving forward. More can be read here on our most recent event, the 12th annual Economic Forum, held in 2016.
