About this event

Join me for a morning of guided meditation and journalling in Battersea Park.

On this last day of August, we'll enjoy one of London's most beautiful parks, reflect on the summer and ready ourselves to transition into autumn.

I run free monthly online meditation and journalling sessions called the Heart Space; a welcoming place for people to check in on themselves. Now, for the first time, I'm taking it on the road!

Like all Heart Space sessions, I will lead us through guided meditations, journalling prompts and readings for reflection from a range of inclusive sources.

We'll meet at the beautiful Peace Pagoda. I'll send all attendees a live location on the morning of the event. The session will finish around 12.20pm, giving us time to share a coffee before we head off to enjoy our sundays.

What to bring:

  • a flask of coffee or tea/bottle of water (pastries will be provided!)
  • notepad and pen
  • picnic blanket or yoga mat

All are welcome - whether you've attended one of my online or in-person events before, come along and take some time to connect with yourself.

Tickets are free, and there'll be an opportunity to tip the facilitator after the event, if you wish to.

What people say about the Heart Space

"The Heart Space was a great opportunity to pause, check in with myself and find some peace and direction during day-to-day life. Rev Holly was inclusive, welcoming and a thoughtful guide - giving us time, allowing the group conversation to lead us, but also refocusing us when needed."

"I love the couple of hours of peace and reflection that the Heart Space allows me, with gentle guidance Holly shares insightful readings and inspiring quotes and encourages us to look inward and find compassion with ourselves, I always leave a little lighter and a little more in love with all the cracked edges of myself."

Frequently asked questions

Do I need meditation or journalling experience?

Not at all - I will guide us through every exercise, and they are all designed to be accessible and inclusive.

Are there toilets?

Yes, there are toilets nearby, about a 2-3 minute walk from where we'll meet - you can find them on Google maps as the Fountain Toilets if you want to check them out beforehand.

Who is facilitating the session?

Rev Holly Chetan-Welsh - writer and ordained interfaith minister with a passion for connecting people to their personal spirituality. I support people of all backgrounds to connect with their personal spiritual path - whatever that means to them.
