Welcome to our launch for the frst ever Brechin Voice Festival. Ticket price includes wine & and other refreshments.
The Hepburn Four are a talented young choral ensemble who came together at St Andrews University. We think they're destined for great things. At a recent performance at the Glasgow Barons Early Music Festival The Scotsman newspaper had this to say in it's 5 star review;
"… delivered with a fluid gracefulness and remarkable sense of balance and ensemble that made for exquisite sonic beauty".
The event will start with welcome drinks & nibbles and the ensemble will begin at 7.30, performing for an hour with a 15 minute interval. The programme will feature a diverse programme with the repertoire spanning the centuries, from early music to popular Scottish folk music from Burns and Dougie MacLean. The stunning Brechin Cathedral is the perfect venue to experience the Hepburn Four.
Enjoy a glass of wine or a hot drink and snacks before the performance and during the interval. There will be an opportunity to talk to the festival organisers about what you'd like to get from the event going forward..
Doors open at 6.45pm. Event ends at 8.45pm.
