The Highland Sustainable Development Summit, hosted by Highland Community Interest Company (CIC), will take place on 25 and 26 November 2025 at the Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness. The event will bring together leading voices from cornerstone economic sectors, policymakers and community leaders - all committed to transforming the Highlands into a model of sustainable development.
With a strong focus on community empowerment and social value, nature restoration, renewable energy and sustainable economic growth, the Summit will inspire a leadership approach to innovative solutions that deliver meaningful impact for local communities while also contributing to local and global sustainability goals.
On 25 November the Summit will host a supply chain event where buyers and suppliers can attend, network and discuss innovative ways of working together to foster greater strength in the local supply chain in the Highlands.
On 26 November, delegates will hear from a range of inspirational speakers involved in tourism, community development and renewable energy here in the Highlands and internationally, who will share their insights and experiences to encourage collaboration and shared learning.
