The Hinge of Fate: One Month in WW2 Westminster
Sat 22 April 2017, 11:00 – 13:00 BST
In May 1940 Britain stood on the brink of defeat during the Second World War. They turned to one man: Winston Churchill, although not everyone supported him. It was to become the biggest crisis of the early part of World War 2.
This tour will take in the stories behind the events of the month of May 1940 as Germany stormed across Europe and Britain was forced to turn to a different course from the one it had been on.
To commemorate the War Cabinet Crisis join Jack Yeomanson on this guided walk which will tell you just how close Britain came to being defeated and the Germans winning the war.
