Event description
Starting in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter we explore Birmingham through its historically and architecturally important pubs

About this event

Starting in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter, we explore Birmingham through some of its historically and architecturally important pubs. We stop for a drink here and there along the way! We travel through the heart of the city ending in Digbeth at the Old Crown. Probably the oldest pub in Birmingham. The tour is a walk of about 1 1/2 miles and takes approximately 2 hours. The terrain is mainly flat, but good mobility is required as we will be in an urban landscape.

We Visit:

The Rose Villa Tavern

The Queen's Arms

The Old Joint Stock

The Trocadero

The Old Crown

If you’re interested in Birmingham, its history and architecture, this is for you.

The tour is over some uneven ground, and stout shoes are recommended. The tour will go ahead unless the weather conditions are deemed unsafe by the met office. Suitable clothing is recommended.
