The History of St Cecilia's Hall
Sat 20 May 2017, 14:30 – 15:30 BST
St Cecilia's Hall is Scotland's oldest concert hall and it has just recently reopened after an extensive redevelopment. The building itself has a facinating history and has been everything from a concert hall, church, temple, school, pub and dance hall before it was returned to a concert hall by the University of Edinburgh. This talk explores the history of the building and the people who have used it over the centuries.
