The Homebirth Workshop

Hello I'm Megan, I'm a 5* rated doula and hypnobirthing teacher with an expertise in home birth that I cannot wait to share with you. From birthing my own baby at home in 2021, supporting countless clients to achieve their own home births since (some with a range of 'high risk' labels) to now preparing for yet another home birth as I currently move through my third pregnancy.

Come and learn why homebirth is actually statistically proven to be at least as safe as giving birth in the hospital for first time parents and even safer than giving birth in the hospital for second and subsequent parents. This workshop is for you whether you're dead set on giving birth at home, slightly intrigued, or had no idea it was even a thing and are curious to know more. You don't have to have made any solid decisions but this workshop guarentees you will walk away understanding why birth works so well at home, how to achieve a birth at home should you chose to have one and all of the helpful preperation tools, tips and techniques you could need.

This workshop is also open to birthworkers, doulas and hypnobirthing teachers who would like to learn more about home birth!

The cost of this workshop is £25, you can choose to pay in full or to pay in 2, to pay in 2 simply select the deposit option of £12.50 and you will be invoiced for the second payment of £12.50 on the 1st September.

In this workshop I'll cover:

-The safety of giving birth at home and why physiological birth works best here

-Logistical considerations and what you need to give birth at home

-Dealing with the sensations of labour at home

-Your rights to a home birth and how to ensure you are attended if you wish to be

-The legalities of choosing to birth at home unattended, considerations and preperation for this

-'High risk' home birth

-How to decide whether it is right for you or not

You will recieve:

-A recording of the workshop to keep forever

-A PDF handbook recapping all of the information

-Resources sheet, including template letters for dealing with homebirth closures, service restrictions, notifying intent to freebirth and notifying the birth after a freebirth

-Birth story sheet including links to multiple beautiful home birth and free birth stories

-Discount codes for my other offerings should you wish to book further support with me
