Book your ticket (1 ticket = 1 car, not 1 person) to visit our horses, ponies and donkeys and say hello to them in the stables and the surrounding fields.
If you are a Gold Sponsor or Season Pass holder you do not need to pre-book a car park space. Please provide your proof of Horse Trust pass at entry.
The Horse Trust is nestled in the beautiful Chiltern countryside between High Wycombe and Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire. It is here that we care for up to 140 retired and rescued horses, ponies and donkeys.
On your visit you can meet some of our residents, stroke them and read their interesting back stories. Our horses are from a variety of backgrounds - the police, military, Royal Mews, Riding for the Disabled Association and heart-wrenching rescue cases. You can enjoy hot drinks, delicious cakes and even a cream tea in our Black Beauty Tea Room. We also have a small museum on the yard where you can learn about our history.
All non Gold Sponsor visitors are required to pre-book tickets prior to arrival (unless you have a season pass in which case you don't need to book and won’t pay an entry fee).
We are open Thursdays - Sundays (Wednesdays during school holidays) from 1-4pm. Gates will be closed for entry at 3.40pm.
Unfortunately we cannot issue any refunds for cancellations. Bookings are only transferable at our discretion to an alternative date if you contact The Horse Trust directly at info@horsetrust.org.uk at least 48 hours before the date you originally booked to visit. We cannot guarantee that we can change the date of your visit; however, we will make all reasonable efforts on a case by case basis. If you cannot attend, your booking fee will go as a charitable donation towards the horses, ponies and donkeys in our care.
