Event description

Description

We all have a profile. We all use it (at varying levels). But how much do (and can) we get out of LinkedIn?

Why should we spend time on the platform, and what should our expectations be of what we can get out of it?

Adam Driver, senior associate at content marketing agency CPL, works on and in LinkedIn on a daily basis. In this informal event, Adam will walk through a introduction to the platform, mainly focusing on elements users may or may not be aware of, helping you maximise your current presence.

This LinkedIn session is for PR & comms folk around Cambridge – to gain practical, realistic advice, hints and tips, including:

  • LinkedIn vs other platforms
  • Posts vs Articles
  • Tagging (# and @)
  • Groups, Companies and Showcases
  • LinkedIn advertising
  • Why do I need an All-Star account?
  • Premium or not to Premium
  • And more...

£4 ticket for CIPR-members; £5 ticket for non-CIPR members (to cover refreshments)

Networking (we prefer to say 'chatting time') will be built in, and feel free to contact the organiser adam.driver@cpl.co.uk with any queries.

deep tech companies, operated by Central Working. Our mission is to grow scaleups and provide
them with the connections and support they need to thrive. The way we do this is by building a
sense of community through human interactions and high-quality events which engage our
members and allow for networking.
