Event description

Description

Running this event in conjunction with The Society of Companion Animal Studies (SCAS) at the College of Animal Welfare, http://www.scas.org.uk/2019-scas-conference/ the People & Animals team would love to invite those with an interest in Human-Animal Interaction, to visit Wisbech Community Farm, celebrating the diversity of this field whilst raising discussion surrounding how we can work together to provide wide scale, sustainable solutions for the declining wellbeing of our young people.

Bringing professionals across the health, social care, education and animal welfare sectors together, we have a day full of interesting ideas to explore and discuss with like-minded people.

The aim of the event is to provide an insight into establishing community- based approaches to working, along with networking opportunities, a time to learn and share ideas, working together to raise standards of best practise and develop the field further within the UK.

There is also an option to share information about the work that you do, free of charge, please just let us know upon booking.
