About the Lab

The third West Midlands Design Lab takes place at The Old Library, Zellig, Gibb Street, Birmingham on Thursday 4th July 2019.

It brings together much of the hard work and thinking of the first two labs in helping shape the region’s Creative Screen Sector.

In particular, the event will be a chance to look at structures, policies, research and development that have been influenced by the work of an increasingly engaged industry.

West Midlands Mayor, Andy Street, will use the occasion to formally launch a new Screen Industry Body, which will lead and facilitate what has the potential to be the most exciting period in the history of the region’s screen businesses.

The West Midlands Screen Bureau will reveal details of the findings of the research and consultation over the last year.

And the Design Lab work will look at how businesses can collectively drive this new era.

Make sure that you are part of what should be an inspiring event.
