Speakers: GCN immigration team
On 12 May 2016, the Immigration Act 2016 came into force and its provisions start to come into force on 31 May 2016 with more on 12 July 2016. This new Act is substantial and in particular it introduces various new provisions to the immigration system as Government attempts to clamp down on illegal migration.
The GCN immigration team will provide a half-day seminar to update immigration lawyers and advisers, providing them with the knowledge required to challenge the provisions of the new Immigration Act 2016 including its effect upon appeals, bail, EEA removals, employers / employees and the new right to rent and eviction provisions.
