Event Details

The role of immigration in our economic and social landscape has been under the spotlight and this is set to continue as the details of Brexit unfold and political leaders regroup following the June General Election.
In this practical session, Tom Brett Young, an immigration associate in the employment team at Veale Wasbrough Vizards LLP (VWV) will provide an overview of UK immigration essentials and will advise us how to prevent illegal working and what to look out for in terms of recent developments in this important area of law.

Our speaker:
Tom Brett Young specialises in providing immigration advice to employers, education providers and high profile and high net worth individuals. He advises businesses on all aspects of UK immigration law which affect their activities, such as Tier 2 sponsorship and the UK’s prevention of illegal working legislation. He also advises high net worth and other individuals on immigration applications under all Points-Based System immigration categories. Tom is an active member of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA) and co-convenor of its Economic Migration Working Group.
