Event description

Description

Do you think you get enough rest, to recharge your batteries?
Can you really perform at your best in business, with less than 8 hours sleep per night?
Do you struggle to switch off and get the rest you need?

In this session for the Independents’ Special Interest Group , Clinical Hypnotherapist Janet Dowling will help participants understand how they can improve their performance at work by making the most of their sleep.

You'll leave with a better understanding of how:

• Your brain works, why we suffer with anxiety, depression, anger or fears
• These states impact our day to day lives, decision making and performance
• Sleep has a direct effect on our ability to cope well
• Different strategies can improve our sleep, affect our mood and increase productivity

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER

Prior to retraining as a clinical hypnotherapist, Janet Dowling was a primary school teacher for 25 years. She still teaches, but now it's to clients about how their brain works with regards to suffering with anxiety, depression and anger, giving them techniques and strategies to reduce their anxiety and improve their sleep.
