Question 2

I can't afford the ticket price, are there any discounts available?

Accepted Answer

mySociety is able to provide a small number of discounted or free tickets to those who otherwise would not be able to attend. To enquire about this, please email tictec@mysociety.org.

Question 3

I need a visa in order to come to TICTeC 2024. Can you help with this?

Accepted Answer

We can provide you with an invitation letter for your visa application once you have registered. Get in touch with your name, address, and ticket order number: tictec@mysociety.org. If for some reason you cannot obtain a visa, we will refund your ticket.

Question 4

Am I able to transfer my ticket to someone else?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you can't make it and want to transfer your ticket to someone else, please email tictec@mysociety.org with the name and organisation of the person you would like to transfer to at least 48 hours ahead of the event.

Question 5

Do I need to print off my Eventbrite ticket?

Accepted Answer

No, you don't need to print off your ticket, but you do need to show us your Eventbrite registration order confirmation on your phone when you arrive, so we can welcome you into the event. If you don't have a phone, you should print off your ticket so you can show us your order confirmation that way

Can I find out who else is coming to TICTeC 2024?

Question 7

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

The conference venue is fully accessible for wheelchair users. If you plan to attend TICTeC with a personal care attendant/assistant, their conference fee will be waived. Please contact tictec@mysociety.org to arrange the fee waiver/registration.

Question 8

Are you able to refund my ticket?

Accepted Answer

We don’t offer refunds but you can transfer the ticket to a colleague or friend. In the event that you are unable to come, please let us know ASAP by emailing tictec@mysociety.org so that we can make your space available to another guest.
