Writtle University College Equine Society Students are presenting the final lecture for this year, with the theme of the Importance of Early Equine Management .

This will include 3 talks on various topics by Writtle lecturers and by guest speaker House and Jackson Vet Chris House.


Topics to include:

From Conception to the Birth Canal


Early Nutrition/ Weaning


Emergency Care of the Newborn Foal


Foal Limbs


There will be an 'ask the panel' session at the end of the talks for any questions or queries to be answered



Starts at 6.30pm - Doors open from 6.15pm

Refreshments will be available


Open to staff, students and the public

Equine Society members: FREE

WUC Students: £2

Public: £5

Payment will be taken on the door

All staff and students will require to present their ID cards


All proceeds will go to the charity Barrow Farm, Riding for the Disabled
