About this event

As a worker in the transport industry, we know you have dealt with a lot of new and unfamiliar challenges over the past few months.  And things are still challenging - whether you are a key worker who’s worked throughout lockdown, or you’re dealing with new concerns as you return to work

All of our lives have been dominated by Covid-19 for a while now, but of course all the health and safety issues that existed before the virus are still there.  It’s as important now as it’s ever been that you speak up about ANY health, safety and wellbeing issue that’s worrying you – so your concern can be heard, and action taken where necessary.

CIRAS is a service you can use to raise health, safety and wellbeing concerns at work if you’d prefer to do this in confidence.  In this webinar, aimed at frontline workers in the transport industry, we’ll talk about why health and safety reporting matters so much, how to report what’s worrying you and where CIRAS fits in.  We’ll not share who has attended, so you can participate in confidence.

Organised by

CIRAS, the confidential incident reporting and analysis service, operating since 1996 and today delivering assurance for member organisations across the UK.

We offer a corporate safety net that ensures safety, health or other concerns are captured internally and with CIRAS help, investigated to a successful and satisfactory conclusion. We expertly facilitate a resolution. For members staff, we offer an alternative independent confidential reporting line, that staff can speak with us knowing their identify will never be shared.

Across industries we are working to exploit the opportunity to learn from such events and through our engagement programme, our newsletters and our website we will share any lessons learnt and actioned. CIRAS is open to all transport operators, infrastructure organisations and their supply chain.
