Event description

Description

Established in 2017, The InFinnity Project uses the work of Finn Clark, a talented illustrator who sadly took his own life at the age of 25, to highlight art as a therapy for mental health problems and raise funds for the Rethink Mental Illness charity and the British Association of Art Therapists. One of the 2017 contributors whose work was chosen to be published, Madeleine Pickett, said "Art helps me with my illness. When I'm well, it's what I do, when I'm under the weather it's what I think about." The project is supported by the Adamson Collection (the national collection of work by mental health service users).

We would ask for a £5 pp donation to cover refreshments and other event costs, but you can donate more, in which case your additional donation will go to our beneficaries Rethink and The British Association of Art Therapists. PLEASE NOTE THAT BECAUSE OF THE WAY EVENTBRITE WORKS, IF YOU ONLY WANT TO DONATE £5 AND WISH TO BUY MORE THAN ONE TICKET, YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE A SEPARATE PURCHASE FOR EACH TICKET. You can also buy cards of the work selected from the 2017 project.
