The Innovation Working Party
Overview
The Innovation Working Party (IWP) has been established to align and establish clearer communication, information sharing, discussion and solution building with policy development and advocacy for the end-to-end process within the Innovation landscape. The IWP’s primary purpose is to deliver the vision and strategy by unlocking the potential of BIVDA members with new innovative products, processes, approaches and methods to achieve the stated objectives by producing proposals, evidence and arguments to develop the UK IVD sector.
The group aims to identify, understand and discuss the challenges and opportunities which arise from the varying system groups, initiatives, grants and processes that are central to promoting the interests of the sector to support research, development and adoption for a better healthcare system for patients, clinicians and the public.
This working party will be held 4 times per year and cover the following core themes.
