Description

The Innovators' Assembly

“Systems savvy” for leaders of innovation in high tech manufacturing.

Leaders operate within a web of “systems within systems” – right from the micro system of their psyche, to their team, the organisation, their technology “tribe”, their industry sector – customers and supply chain, and the macro system of the broader economy.

As a leader’s responsibility grows, so does the demand upon their understanding and mastery of these multiple layers.

Take this unusual opportunity to step back from your day-to-day operations to gain valuable insights that will accelerate your systems intelligence. Learn about the paradigm shift of the circular economy and candid stories about leaders’ experiences of bringing technological developments to commercial fruition. Engage in gently facilitated dialogue with esteemed peers. Bring back priceless wisdom to your organisation and the innovators you lead.

This is a unique gathering for

  • Technologists and leaders in high-tech manufacturing, bio-engineering and digital

  • Partners or senior level executives in professional services or tech services firms

  • Senior representatives in scientific and engineering educational or research institutions

  • High potential individuals in the world of high-tech manufacturing, biotech and digital

  • Academic or policy influencers

It offers a precious opportunity to step back from your day-to-day operations to consider critical systemic shifts in the business environment, gain candid insights into disruptive technological developments and to engage in rich dialogue about the strategic implications - both for your organisation, and for yourself as an innovator and leader.

Nothing beats meeting face-to-face in terms of quality dialogue and relationship-building. There is now a wealth of research to prove that virtual gatherings pale in comparison. At the Innovators' Assembly you will meet and have quality interactions in real time with acknowledged experts and respected peers. You'll dialogue together, gain valuable CPD, enrich your personal network, and maybe even find potential collaborators. To help optimise your experience and your connections there will be a unique and gently facilitated process to support you. By the end of the day you'll have had quality interactions with at least 16 other participants.

Expect serendipity!

The design is carefully structured to address systemic themes from Macro to Micro, encompassing...

  • The Circular Economy and changing business mode

  • Making sense of the UK support Landscape

  • IoT, Digitisation and Cyber – theory and practice

  • Launch of the global Innovation Standards

  • Agile – does it serve manufacturing?

  • You, the innovator – systems thinking, neuroplasticity and "VUCA"

You'll view a range of issues from other perspectives, come away with a greatly enriched “mental map” and even more confidence to innovate and influence within your organisation, and even your sector.
