Event Details

This UK Parliament Week, the UK Parliament Education and Engagement Service are hosting a series of Jubilee Room talks, FREE for anyone who wants to find out more about how the UK Parliament works, and how to get involved.

After last year's standing-room-only panel session, the Lords Library returns to the UK Parliament Week programme with a dazzling new line up. Hear from some of our fantastic team members to learn about the Library's unique role in providing information and resources to help peers participate in Parliament.

  • Elaine is the Director's busy executive assistant, primed to give you an introduction to the Library and share what it's really like to work in Parliament.
  • Kate is our cataloguer extraordinaire, ready to answer all your bookish questions.
  • Henry is the tech whiz, driving digital in the Library.
  • Chris is our economist, he'll tell you how we make sure our research is on the money.
Hear all about their roles and more in our panel session and Q&A.

There are limited places at this event and places are available on a first come first served basis. If a waiting list is formed then this will be distributed on a first come, first served basis, places are non-transferable.
