About this event

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has been operating in Israel and the Occupied Territories since 1967. Since the outbreak of the conflict between Israel and Hamas on 7 October 2023, the ICRC has been actively involved in providing a humanitarian response in Gaza and Israel, including during the release of hostages from Gaza.

In this presentation, we will learn about the mandate of the organisation globally, and with particular focus on ICRC’s actions since the outbreak of hostilities in Gaza and Israel, and the devastating suffering that ensued.
