About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

This is a super warm-up walk and is slightly different to previous years' introductory rambles.

We are heading out of town along the Selkirk road towards Frenchlands, walking through the fields to Jenny's view, where we'll take a wee minute to admire the views of Moffat and take a few snaps.

The Moffat Well became famous for its curative powers

The water was eventually piped into the town, and established Moffat as a spa town.

From there we'll head back down Well Road, and cross the field to Gallow Hill, which benefits the community of Moffat and District area, visitors and for future generations, then making our way back.
