Event description
From the discovery of entirely new kinds of galaxies to a window into cosmic ‘prehistory’, join Matthew Bothwell as he shows us the Universe

About this event

Since the dawn of our species, people all over the world have gazed in awe at the night sky. But we can only see a tiny fraction of the Universe.

Join Matthew Bothwell as he asks, what the cosmos has in store for us beyond the phenomena we can see, from black holes to supernovas? How different does the invisible Universe look from the home we thought we knew?

Copies of Matthew's book 'The Invisible Universe' are available from amazon and all good bookshops.

By booking to attend events at the Royal Institution, you confirm that you have read and agree to the Ri's event terms and conditions.
