Our walk starts in the village of Cliffe which is on the Hoo Peninsula in Kent. We descend down through isolated footpaths towards the riverfront, later we begin to see boats, jetties and people all of which were absent during the walk from Grain. With even more horses, wildlife, remote marshland and wide expanses of open countryside this walk is a true delight. As we approach Gravesend the contrast between rural and urban is stark, we finish the walk making our way through Gravesend town and up to the train station.
