Event description

Description

The Dickson Poon School of Law is proud to present The Itinerary, an exhibition of photojournalism documenting the refugee crisis, which since 2015, has spread from Africa and the Middle East to Europe. Join us on October 5 for a special introduction to the exhibition.

The Itinerary represents the work of 11 photojournalists who have documented various sites affected by the refugee crisis. These locations include camps in Greece, Macedonia, Serbia and Hungary. Some of the photographs were also taken in the starting points of the refugees' trek, including countries and regions such as Iraq, Syria and Sub-Saharan Africa. The exhibition seeks to document life along these journeys, blending the details of this struggle with photographic reportage that calls for solidarity amid a crisis which is still ongoing.

The launch event will feature a special introduction to the exhibition from some of the photojournalists featured in the exhibition as well as a preview of the exhibition itself.

For more information on The Itinerary, please visit theitineraryexhibition.com. A book has also been produced to accompany the exhibition with all proceeds from sales going directly to the charity METAdrasi, which helps facilitate the reception and integration of refugees in Greece.
