The Jeremiah Horrocks Winter Lecture 2019
Event Information
About this Event
This lecture looks at the relationship of music to stellar sounds. It introduces the concepts of asteroseismology and shows how the sounds in the stars help understand exoplanets. It also shows a selection of exciting results from space missions in a multi-media performance of science, animations and the physics of music and the stars.
Professor Donald Kurtz from UCLAN will be giving the lecture.
