Event description

Description

Malaria kills a child every 2 minutes. This is the story of the Cinchona tree and quinine. The discovery of quinine is considered the most serendipitous medical find of the 17th century and it remains an important anti-malarial drug almost 400 years after its effectiveness was first documented.

Booking required.
