Overview
Exploring the history of ecological resistance
Join Norfolk Wildlife Trust and friends for a deep dive into activism.
Helen Baczkowska, writer and ecologist, will talk about how a more radical environmental movement grew in the UK in the 1990s, embracing direct action against road-building and linking to global struggles for land rights and social justice. The discussion will look at what the protests of the 90s learnt from previous movements and how, in turn, they influence the present.
This is an Online event - a link invitation will be sent 1 week before.
