The Joy of Pork with The Drunken Butcher
For our February DineIn event we head to the home of The Drunken Butcher just off Dane Road in Sale.
The Drunken Butcher started cooking in a gastropub in North Yorkshire, initially to pay for University. He then moved into the food industry and kept cooking in local restaurants.
Having catered many and varied events including a charity pink-themed night, a 'whole hog' wedding and 'Around the world in eight-ish steaks', his last big event was the #mEAT night with The Liquorists for the 2012 Manchester Food & Drink Festival.
Whilst his over-riding passion is meat (you should see his tattoos) he makes sure he cooks everything with the same amount of care.
One thing is for sure, you will never leave the Drunken Butcher's table hungry!

The dining club for serious foodies in Manchester/North Cheshire.
Great food, great company, great locations.
Our events are like going to a dinner party at someone's house as numbers are kept to a max of 12.
For our DineOut events we find locations with private dining rooms in hotels or restaurants where professional chefs create something special just for us.
Our DineIn events are held in private homes and food is created by a talented amateur chef, much more of a home cooking feel.
